
Elizabeth T Valdez
Elizabeth is an interior architecture intern with Ferguson Pyatt. Elizabeth grew up on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Ethete, Wyoming, and is an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe. She is also part of the Hunkpapa Lakota Tribe from the Standing Rock Reservation. Her identity as an Indigenous woman has deeply influenced her journey into Interior Architecture. It drives her to represent not only her culture but also to celebrate her people and ancestors in her work. She is a passionate role model for Indigenous youth, showing them that they can pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. Elizabeth strives to be one of the many who contribute to the visibility and representation of Indigenous people in architecture and design.
